Gazmend Freitag at Festival of Traditional Cultures — Salzburg 2023

It was such a joy to participate in the Festival of Traditional Cultures in Salzburg, Austria. I had the opportunity to show ten portraits of Albanians famous in the realms of literature, history and art. They have influenced my thinking and my development as a painter.
Best of all, I met the Albanian Dance Ensemble Shota which entertained us with traditional dance and music and got all of us moving. For a moment, I felt like I was back home in Kosovo, enjoying the company of friends.
